:::jules08:::

did you do any classes for your natural birth prep?

We didn't but we read natural childbirth the bradley way and I highly recommend it ;)

Re: :::jules08:::

  • I haven't done any classes but have done a lot of reading on it!  The classes offered are either 6 Tuesday nights that are 3 hours each or 2 Saturdays for 9 hours each and we honestly haven't been able to commit to that much time!  Sad I know!

    I have read a bit of the Bradley not the other though, I will check it out ... THANK YOU!!

  • no problem, we found natural childbrith the bradley way to be the "hands on" book. It told you how to do things, what to expect, gave you some practice exercises AND it's an easy read, I read it 2x and DH read it 1x

  • Very cool, that sound like it's right up my alley then! We just got back from our tour of L&D at our hospital and I am so excited to be going there. They've got a great set up with the tubs, bars, birthing balls, and the showers, etc. I talked to the nurse about my goals and she made it seem like everyone would be so supportive and helpful to make my goals successful.
