I have black bean soup in the crockpot and the smell is driving me crazy. I want to eat it right now.
What is everybody else having for dinner?
Re: What's for dinner?
I want to come to your house and have soup.
Since I'm feeling sick, soup sounds good but I have no effort or energy to cook today. My farmshare pickup is tonight so I might just roast some veggies and call it a meal.
Whatever XN makes.
We don't plan out meals by the week or anything - I always think it's a good idea when other people are talking about it, but then I think about it more and it probably wouldn't work for us.
Last night we had a Moroccan chickpea dish that was delicious.
I am intrigued.
I wish I could share some of my soup with you!
Mix some feta or goat cheese in with your roasted veggies and I would happily trade!
Cereal? Soup out of a can?
H has bowling league tonight, so it's just me and T. Poor kid.
Last night was loaded baked potato soup, tonight it's breakfast for dinner.
My mom is making beef stroganoff (one of my childhood faves) for my sister's birthday; Dad made a red velvet cake.

I'm tucking this away for future use. Chicken thighs are so flavorful.
I just used chicken legs. Everyone said it was really good. I'm not a huge fan of cumin so it kinda bugged me. And it kinda reminded me of shake and bake. I'd make it again becz everyone else liked it though. Maybe I'll just cut down on the cumin a little.
Oh yes, shake and bake. I see that. I would use panko crumbs, which might cut down on that, hopefully. And I love cumin. And paprika. Actually all those spices together I am sure I would like. Maybe this combo sprinkled over peanuts or roasted chick peas would be good. Hmm.
