Would you sell your dress?
I'm taking a break from homework and started looking through the other boards. I can't believe how many wedding dresses are for sale on the trash to treasure board. Maybe I'm a sentimental idiot, but I just got mine back from the cleaners last week, and I can't imagine selling it.

Missing our little turkey.
Estimated Due Date 11/13/12 | Natural Miscarriage 4/17/12
I could sell mine (emotionally) - I know I'm never going to use it again, and if we have a daughter she'll probably have her own style, or would be a different size or shape. But I'd be annoyed at how much less I'd get for it than I paid - I don't want to sell it for ~$200 when I paid around $1000 for it!
I might keep it for a daughter to play dress-up in though!
This is me, mine is still filthy in a closet.
I am actually planning on selling mine. I wasnt in love with it and I think that if someone else can get use out it I would rather that than have it sitting in my closet.
That being said its just hanging on the door to my closet, still filthy..lol
Oh good I don't feel so bad now. But I'm in the same boat. Although I do debate donating it to the breast cancer charity.
yeah, mine is still dirty in the closet too. I've been trying to sell it, and I figure if someone is willing to spend that much on it (that I'm offering) then I'll sell it. Since that's so unlikely, it's probably mine forever. :P
I love the idea of my little girl (or boy for that matter) playing dress up in it someday.
This, though mine is likely worth much less. And, it's still dirty in the closet.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermI'm late on this one, but mine is still hanging dirty in the closet too.
I briefly thought about selling it and even posted it on CL and got a decent offer, but Jason got really upset about it and said I should keep it and that it would be disrespectful to my Dad (who paid for my dress) if I sold it...so I'll keep it. I am glad he didn't let me sell it though because I tried it on a couple months ago and it was so fun to relive that 'bride' feeling. I think I'll always hold on it, even if it remains hanging in a closet for the rest of my life. It's a generic Davids Bridal dress, but it's 'my' dress.
