How do you clean your bamboo wood floors?

We'll be moving soon to a house with bamboo wood floors...I have laminate now, and once a week go over them with some Murphy's Oil soap and water, and wipe dry.  Could I do the same with the bamboo?
Anyone can be cool, but awesome takes practice!

Re: How do you clean your bamboo wood floors?

  • Murphy's Oil Soap is the devil on hardwood floors. It leaves a gross residue.

I use a 5:1 ratio of warm water + white vinegar and I use a microfiber mop so the floors are dry right away. The mop head is washable. I have a few mop heads; some for dry dusting the floors, some for mopping.

My entire house is hardwood (bamboo and teak) and ceramic tile.

  • Good to know!!!! Thank you so much.
