another wedding ring question

Can you rec a great jeweler who can remove two tricky wedding bands from an egagement ring?  I've never liked my wedding bands and want to do something different with them.  Someday.

Re: another wedding ring question

  • I've always used West Omaha Jewelers on 144th and Blondo.  I had my rings rhodium (sp?) plated, soldered, and a diamond replaced there.  They do really good work and are reasonably priced, IMO.

  • My ring is from Bergman's and I love them. Not sure if they do that stuff in house or send it off though. You can always try Borsheims too because they have a large area in the back for repairs and cleaning.
  • I had my wedding band made at GoldsmithSilversmith downtown.  They do all their work in store/Omaha.  I can't say enough good things about them and how great they were to work with.
  • When we had my band made, I used Stef (she's a nestie) at 14 karat. It was a send out, but I trust them and highly recommend them!

  • Erwins Jewelers in Bellevue does custom work, and they do it all in house as well...super nice people!
