How are you doing? It's been a while since I've seen you around on the board, or maybe it's because I've only be here half the time and spending the other half feeling miserable myself.

Any symptoms yet or you still feeling pretty good?

Re: *Nokcha

  • I'm here! I ended up getting pretty bad ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome because of the effect of the HCG on my ovaries. They blew up to the size of grapefruits (and are still that size) and I started leaking fluid into my abdomen. I gained over 12 pounds in a week and had to be drained two days ago (they got a liter of fluid). Since then, I've been feeling better! Not perfect, but slowly getting there. It's been hard to tell the difference between those symptoms and pregnancy symptoms, but I can't really complain.

I'm sorry you've had such bad morning sickness. I hope you start feeling better soon! Thanks for checking in :)

  • Oh no!!! that doesn't sound like fun at all Sad I'm glad that they could do something about it though and that it's helped you feel better! Hopefully it just get's better from here on out now!

As far as the morning sickness goes I've finally started to notice that it is somewhat better the last few days. I did start taking a different herbal "supplement" - Red Raspberry, and it really seems to be helping. The other side of it is that I'm not sure if it is just getting better of it has actually made a difference for all day. I know it makes a difference when I'm nauseous, if I drink it as a tea. The last few days I've cut back to taking only 2 of the prescription meds a day. Which I was taking every 7 hours or so. Seems to be working, and this morning when I got up I actually felt pretty good and not a single bit of nausea. So we shall see.
