I am so tired and a bit stressed from work so all I want to do is sleep this weekend but I do have plans anyhoo -
Tonight - short drop-in to a happy hour with a pal and her coworkers, I will get myself a virgin mojito. Yum, yum! Then head home and try to read a few pages for school. I have been sleeping all week and need to catch up.
Saturday - it's our 6th anniversary! DH might be working. I am gonna get my hair washed - I don't know how much longer my hair can look like a human's without getting it relaxed.
Then hanging out with a former coworker at a church bbq. Then DH and I go on a date. As usual, we try a different cuisine and this year was supposed to be Australian but I told DH I could not do any adventurous cuisine since my mouth is acting all funny. So we are doing either familiar American or Italian.
Sunday - we both go to church (I requested a special intention for us:)). I need to read. Eek
Any plans?

Re: Weekend Plans!
Happy Anniversary lawby!!
I am sooooo excited about my plans for tonight.....I am going to see my all time favorite movie, Newsies, live on stage!!!! I am so excited i can barely contain myself. I feel like a kid at Christmas. It's playing at the Papermill Playhouse and it looks like it's going to be incredible. It just opened last night.
Tomorrow we are finally having a garage sale (kept getting rained out) and Sunday we are taking it easy. Well, i have to teach two classes (bellydance and yoga) but taking it easy after that!
Happy anniversary, lawby!!
We're leaving for Ireland tonight! So for the weekend (and the rest of the week), we have planned some major sleeping in, sightseeing, drinking beer (for DH) and just lots of relaxation. I'm so so excited, we really need a vacation right now!
Have a good weekend, ladies, and talk to you when we're back!
Bubblegum Explosion
I'm always a day late. =/ Happy Anniversary, Karllen...hope you have a wonderful day!!
Yesterday: Took DD for pictures at Sears and JCP's (I had coupons) with my mom and then went to my friend's house so DD could have a play date with her daughter (not that they really play together, but they play none-the-less lol). Then we went to my 'rents for dinner.
Today: Baked a cake for dessert tomorrow night (having my 'rents and MIL over for dinner tommorrow night) and that's about it so far. DD slept terribly last night because she's a little congested (the humidifier goes on tonight...HTH's)...I'm not sure if it's a cold or teething or allergies? We go to the Dr's on Wed. for her 9 months well baby visit, so maybe the Doc has some insight. =/ Tonight I will be going grocery shopping for said dinner tomorrow night. DH is working today, so other than that, DD and I are just relaxing.
Tomorrow: Having the fam over for dinner (like I mentioned) and that's about it. Nothing else planned.
Monday: DH starts his new job! He was an electrician in the union for the last 8 years, but being the economy sucks and no one is building, he has been in and out of work for the last 6-7 months. He has been taking city electrical tests for the last few years, hoping to get called for something (he's known for awhile that he could possibly get laid off once he became what they call an A Journeyman, which happened Feb. '10, so he was preparing for the worst. Anyway, he was called for an electrical position with the MTA about a month or so ago and he accepted it, so he starts on Monday. I'm very excited because it is steady work and working for the city is always a good thing...they have excellent benefits. Unfortunately, it is quite a bit less of a salary compared to the union, but does it really matter if he is only working 3 months out of the year? =/ Anyway, I hope he likes it and is happy there...we'll see.
Happy weekend all!
