One of those awesome pay questions

So DH just got out of boot camp in August.  He graduated as an E2.  So now that he is in SOI, he should be getting an E2 pay right?

He hasn't been able to set up his My Pay yet because they haven't mailed us his password and he can't call the Finance office (if that is who you would call for these issues) since he is out in the field Mon-Fri.  So here I am, in the dark about this pay situation, with no clue how to fix it.  Should I just wait until SOI is over and he can deal with this? 

Any suggestions?

Thanks... it is too little, off by a few hundred in fact.  I let him know that he might be able to ask his instructor if he can work on getting it fixed during the week.

Valid point, but no it isn't taxes.  He is actually bring home less now then he did in boot camp, even though he is a higher rank now.

Maybe certain allotments have kicked in?  Like if he set up his TSP, or dental coverage, rent, etc.  Also, depending on the station you're at, you can receive more or less allowances.  I would just have your H check with someone.  Hopefully he can get his password soon for MyPay.

Thanks!  I'll just try and go with the flow and then attempt to get it sorted out when I can
