How often should I scrub/clean my bath tub?
Re: How often should I...
Ditto
I do this also. Although sometimes it's closer to 2 weeks but the daily spray helps keep it clean.
I scrub once a week using Scrubbing Bubbles and we use a daily shower cleaner. The daily shower cleaner makes a huge difference in how hard it is to clean the shower at the end of the week.
About every other week with Soft Scrub with bleach and a scrub brush. Since it is just the two of us, this is really all I need. Even at that, it doesn't get too bad.
I noticed that when we use some soaps, it may need to be cleaned sooner- like every week. Depends on if there is soap scum or not.
Baby Boy loved for 15 weeks, 5/31/11
Baby Girl loved for 16.5 weeks. 3/1/12
It's just DH & myself so only 1x a week for us. Although, when we start to have kiddos taking baths (only have 1 full bathroom), I imagine this may get bumped to 2x a week depending on the mess.
Try a cleaner that says "no scrub" like Comet gel cleaner or Oxy. Our tub is older & is all tiled walls, so I just spray a generous amount covering the whole tub + walls and then throw on the exhaust fan and walk away for 30 min. When I come back to it, all I do is wipe it down with a sponge.
