I've totally thought about getting his initials somewhere on my hip or whatever would be covered by a bikini.  I don't know why, lol.  I have no other tattoos and only one hole in each ear, but for some reason I've thought it would be something I'd do.

I have permanent ink for him - it's just not his name. 

But I'm not 100% in the no name camp - I do have my grandmothers name tattooed on me.

I wouldn't and I don't have any tattoos.  But, I've considered getting our signs or our wedding date, maybe in roman numerals (IX.III.MMX)

I had to vote SS because you missed something critical: No, because I believe in the tattoo name jinx!! Tattoo names are ok when they're in honor of someone who has passed, or your children, but for SOs, it seems that most of the time when people do this...they break up. I'm not TRULY superstitious, but to the degree that I'll go along with it, this is one I abide by the most.

This, I agree 100%.  It's kinda funny when that happens to celebs (Kat Von Dee and Jesse James, for example), funny in a snarky "ha, ha" way.
