Getting Make-up Done Professionally

I'm in a wedding on October 8 and I want to have my make-up professionally done. The only person I have ever trusted to give me a full face of make-up is the bride, and I don't think she'll be available that day. :-)

Do any of you have reccomendations?

I've gotten mine done at the MAC counter @ Valley West Mall a few times for special occasions.  They charge $50 but you can use that towards product if you'd like.

I got my wedding makeup done at Bella in Valleywest mall. I don't remember exactly what it cost but you could put that toward makeup which was nice. I think it was around $30 but that was 2 years ago

I'm almost positive my salon does professional make up.  It's Salon 86.  I recommend Dawn or Jennifer.

For my wedding, I got it done at Sahar's.  Can't remember the price.  It was all right - nothing stellar.

This guy, Patrick, is in the east village. He's awesome! He also has a hand in the manufacturing of the products he uses, the prices are really reasonable, and he will make you look amazing, plus he's really fun and I just had a great overall experience. PLUS it's local, so you can support a local resident/artist Also, I know some of the pictures on the website are over the top, but he did my makeup and the makeup of a couple of friends, and he is very good at lower-key makeup too.

I had my wedding makeup done at MAC, and loved the way it turned out.  I don't wear a ton of makeup, so natural-looking was important to me.

I scheduled with Patrick today! His portfolio is awesome and he sounded super nice on the phone. I cannot wait!

I think you already picked someone, but Dawn did my make-up for my wedding, you can see the pictures on FB, but she did a wonderful job!
