We just moved to Dallas and our new house is in desperate need of some landscaping.
-There are several flower beds along the length of the house (about 1' wide) & courtyard fence
-On 1 half of the front of the house there is a metal fence (tall vertical bars) that separates the courtyard from the front yard
-we need to do something in the courtyard that has a few crepe myrtles, brick path I would like some easy to take care of flowers that aren't posinous to dogs/cats
-We would eventually like to use part of the L shaped backyard as a vegetable garden.
Do any of you have blogs with good ideas? Or can link me to good blogs? We are not skilled gardeners or landscapers so I need something easy with good directions. TIA!
Re: new house needs landscaping
Can you post pics? That would be very helpful.
A 1' wide bed foundation bed is useless. Is there anything growing there now? Or is it, by chance, filled with gravel?
Can you draw out a map and post it?
My favorite for visual inspiration (already did a search for you on landscape and you're set!)
