Whats for dinner?

I have to go to the grocery store tonight, and honestly I am dreading it. Last week when I went I spent an hour, too much money and ended up with nothing substantial. I need ideas, please

I made a roast chicken last night, which will also be dinner tomorrow. Tonight we're have tacodillas...Mark likes quesadillas and I like mine in taco form but it is pretty much the same ingredients so it all works out. Lets see, we're also having hot dogs and baked beans, pan fried chicken and pasta in a parm-cream sauce with broccoli. We may also have pan fried chicken and pasta in vodka sauce with feta and broccoli if we don't go out for dinner this weekend.

I have a Thirty One meeting, and they provide appetizers and soft drinks ... so I'll eat that. I might also eat some chef boyardee beef ravioli before I go though. That's my current craving.

DH will probably order himself a pizza or stop at Panera.

It's just one of those crazy busy days. And we don't really want to shop this week since we're on vacation all next week.

Tonight I have veggie soup cooking in the crockpot. Wednesday night we are doing Tofu enchilladas. You might like the acorn squash recipe I posted earlier. It has turkey so it is pretty healthy and well rounded.

I would love some carnitas with beans but being poor and having just spent money on groceries mean I have to wait.  Boohoo

I have that on the list, if I find good acorn squash But other than that, thats all I have. We are in a major pasta, pizza, grilled/baked chicken rut!

We are having spaghetti. Jeff's birthday request. For some bizarre reason he is currently obsessed with my sauce. Otherwise this week I think I'm going to try and make Sarah's mom's pasta fagioli and I have no idea what else. I have to go to the store too.

My (other) friend that lives in ATL was telling me all about that eggplant parm when his FI was pregnant. They went and she got it... I don't think it worked for her but I'm not positive.
