Casseroles and Favorite Fall Recipes
So now that it's starting to feel like Fall I'm starting to want some more comfort foods. My appetite changes completely with the seasons. What are your favorite Fall or comfort food recipes to make? (Sorry in advance, I do realize it's not Fall for everyone.)
Also, any good casserole dishes? I'm looking for some easy to make dinners after work. I don't mind the prep time and baking, just don't want to tend to something constantly.

Bangers and Mash with gravy, although instant gravy is easier to make than from scatch with just sausage.
For the weekend whe you have more time, maybe a roast. I bought a beef joint, seared it on all sides, but it in a casserole pot added potato, carrots and parsnips seasoned with salt, pepper and rosemary, Fresh out in the garden. Put the lid on and in the oven for 2 hours. We had it for dinner tonight. Turned out really well.
Chili and corn bread. Cannot go wrong with that.
Italian sausage (found this at Costco) with veg, tinned chopped tomato and pasta with cheese on top.
