Anyone used these? Or had cuppies with them? They're cute, I'm thinking of using them for my friend's daughter's birthday party this weekend.

Have you ever used Lard or crisco in icing making? I'm trying to make just a plain white icing. I would prefer something without trans fats, but I don't know that this is an option.
I've used Crisco before, but I prefer to use butter (better flavor and whips up much better than crisco IMO). Crisco icing is good for making flowers and such since it crusts/holds its shape very well.
If you want to make a buttercream with butter but absolutely want white, Wilton makes a product that makes the icing whiter.
