inexpensive Oakland Co. venues?
My BIL and soon-to-be SIL are finally getting married, and are looking for venues. They are looking for an inexpenseve place (but of course as nice as possible), for roughly 50 people, in February. They are open to daytime or evening receptions. Any ideas?
My DH and I are from Oakland County, but we had our wedding elsewhere so other than old prom locations I was no help in coming up with venues.

Have you checked the local Detroit Knot board? Those girls can be super helpful, plus there's a sticky post at the top of the page with a ton of vendor reviews to help with the selection. The first thing that comes to mind is a nice restaurant. Andiamo's has a nice separate room for weddings. I also know a couple girls had their receptions at Big Rock Chop House. Other than that, I don't have any other suggestions.
