Castle 9/19
So, okay... objectively speaking, I get why people will love this episode, but my whole issue here is with 'I want to be with you, but not until I solve my mum's murder.' Granted, I know where they're going with this storyline, but I'm bored.
I suppose it's better than total amnesia?
The other thing... I love the dramatic episodes, however, this show started out as being light and fun. I'm kind of worried that they're headed toward melodrama territory.
Oh, and btw, Josh? Good riddance. Worst s/o storyline ever.

I will admit I miss the weirder cases. The first episode I saw was the one with the body shoved in the safe and it's what got me hooked on the show. I liked this episode though and I really enjoyed last season too, so I'm not complaining too much. Actually, the episodes last season that centered around Beckett's mom's case are among my least favorite which is probably why this episode is meh for me. I'd like to see that whole conspiracy thing pushed to a back burner.
Miles (6 year old Maine C00n mix), Boots (5 year old Lab mix), Darla (4 year old GSD/Collie mix), Frankie (1.5 year old DSH mix), Peanut (15 months old - 09/11), and Bean (arriving Feb 2013).
As far as her mom's case-either solve it already or drop it. I hate it being mentioned on a regular basis.
I do miss the more funny episodes, that is what made the show work. They had a good balance of humor and drama that it didn't go too far off one extreme or another.
And I love that Castle used the Mayor to get his "job" back.
And I have a have a weird feeling that the new Captain is up to something.
The only time I've heard it is when it comes to military.

This really bothered mh while we were watching. I am another one for putting Mom's case on the back burner. Move on with different cases already!

ditto all of this!! they can't exactly just "let go" of her mom's murder case, since it's probably the reason KATE GOT SHOT. i doubt she's gonna be all "ho hum, i took a bullet and almost died...let's find more steampunk murderers!"
most crime shows that are worth anything have specific cases each episode, but then a story arc that lasts the whole season.
