PiP the best thing about your residence
What do you like about your Place ? A favorite decoration ? Yard ? Kitchen ? Paint color you agonized over choosing... And go
Re: PiP the best thing about your residence
LOL, I only have one of those, a kitchen. I do like it a lot because of the way it's laid out and the storage but I don't think it's pretty. Is it sad that the best looking part of our place is my bathroom? I like the color scheme.
Although I do like how my curtains look above my bed and the Anne poster above it:
And I do love my posters/prints of my travels in Europe. They make the living room cozy.

My kitchen! And I'm PIPosting a before we moved in picture because the other pictures show my kitchen as a disaster zone.
I love the counter space and the efficiency, its not the biggest kitchen but the efficiency makes it feel larger than what it is. I love the colors and how much natural light the kitchen has. The canister sunken lights are awesome too. The the bottom corner cabinets have two lazy suzan's a piece in them. Love love love my kitchen.
H, I love those colors in your bathroom!
I also love my bright blue kitchen:
Our plant-covered patio when it's dark and the twinkly lights are lighting everything up:
The two weeks or so this summer when this was the view out my dressing room window:

Oh, there's so many things I love about this place!
I love your bathroom!!

I love the layout of my house, both down and upstairs. I can't really photograph that but I can try to describe it. The kitchen has a half wall that looks out over the playroom, so you can see the big TV while doing the dishes (and the kid if she is in there playing), the playroom has a door and the kitchen has a door so the whole area could be closed off without any gates. The dining room is off the kitchen and the deck is off the dining room. then the living room is on the other side of the dining room, and a hall, all open and connected, that leads to the foyer, the playroom door and the extra half bath. So elena can run around in circles and she loves it.
Then upstairs there is also sort of circle, our bedroom suite (with great bathroom), hall leads to Elena's room, then a hall leads to a bathroom and a guestroom. The office is in the middle and has a door to our room and the hallway, near the guestroom. So it's nice for BIL our tenant, or for guests, he can go from his room to the bathroom and the office without disturbing anyone, We can get to Elena easily too. The laundry is between my room and Elena's room in a large closet. Again, easy access without disturbing BIL.
There were so many houses that had terrible layouts, even though we don't have much of a yard this was by far our favorite.
Our (rental) yard is great:
