Has anyone had this done? Allison's response to the post below got me thinking about this. We went through a second miscarriage earlier this year , because of that my DH has decided that he would like to take a small break from TTC. Since we are taking said break, I have been thinking a lot about having some tests done and genetic testing is top on my list. I would really like to find out if there is something going on with either of us.
If you have had this done, did you need to be refered by your OBGYN, and also which doctor did you see?

Re: Genetic Testing??
I have not, I have an appointment with my OB in 2 weeks to discuss this. I would really like to have the RPL testing done as well as the karyotype testing for me and DH done. Did you have the RPL testing done? My friend from high school told me I shoud have an ANA panel ran, she has had 5 miscarriages and when she had this done they found out she carries the Lupus Antibody. It's a little scary but I'm also very curious to see if anything else is going on.
Thanks for the info!
You should definitely ask about Factor V (five) Leiden testing. It's a clotting disorder. This runs in my family, and when we talked about it w/my OB she seemed to think that it would cause most problems w/formation of placenta, implantation, etc. I def agree with the ANA testing and RPL. Most pregnancies have nuchal translucency testing in the first trimester. Good luck! I hope you have a great experience! I've never had any personal experience with any RE's, but I have several friends who've had excellent experiences with Integris's services. Hang in there lady. God will provide!
What do you mean that's the wrong side? Tastes great to me!
Thank you very much!!! I've written a lot of things down to discuss with my OB in two weeks, I know this sounds weird but I'm kind of hoping they do find something so that way atleast I have answers. Not knowing what is causing this is the hardest but I know that if it's meant to be it will be!
