Best place to sit at a football game?

Re: Best place to sit at a football game?

  • DH and I like the end zones - that way you can see the holes open up and see the plays develop.  If not the end zone, then the corners are good too.
I swim because I'm too damned sexy for a sport that requires real clothing.
  • Our season tickets for Auburn games are on the 25 yard line of the Auburn sideline and we LOVE them! This is specific to our stadium, of course, but it is the perfect view of the jumbo-tron, the perfect view of the field and the band, I just love it.

DH often has to sit in the end zone in the recruiting section and he likes that, too. I've sat there with him and much prefer our seats over the end zone. Like roar said, in the end zone seats you can see the play develop a bit more but (and again, this is specific to Jordan-Hare/certain stadiums) you are sitting right under the jumbo-tron so you can't see that and any plays at the other end zone are just so far away.

  • DH and I prefer upper deck on the 50 yard line. And DH also said that in Minnesota specifically, the best place to sit would be outside the stadium in case it collapses again, heh.

ETA: Oops, saw your first line just now. I'd pick either end zone then.

Ha! That's true. Minnesota has been known to get snow in October too Smile

  • Thanks, everyone!

  • I say endzone too. You can really see the plays develop in a way you never get to see on tv.

I hope you're going to be cheering for the Packers! Stick out tongue

I will be! Any other time I would root for the Vikings (second favorite team).

  • I like sitting at the lower corner. It?s the best place according to me, you can get a clear picture of what is going on in the match.
