As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Garage door opener?
I remember a while back someone writing on here about needing a garage door opener installed. Not sure the response, but I was hoping I could put out the plea again.
We have a garage door opener new in the box that the previous owner of our house left for us, but we'd like to hire someone to install it for us.
Anyone know anyone that would be good/reliable for a project like that? We're in Monmouth.

I may have been the one to put out that plea. And my dad came and it took him, MH, and I 6 hours to install the sucker. And then another hour the next day for MH and I to tweak the settings to get them mostly right.
I am SO glad my dad came up to help us, as his wisdom and experience with installing them was the only reason we were successful. Definitely not a project to do on one's own the first time. Good luck!
