Hi, y'all.
Just got news from MIL that her mother has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Danny isn't taking the news well at all. According to his grandfather, Grandma is "living on borrowed time." As MIL's side of the family tends to exaggerate things, I'm not sure how true this is. Grandma is up there in age (and has Parkinson's), so it may be pretty accurate.
If you can spare a few T&Ps for Grandma (or Danny if something should happen), I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks.
Re: T&P?
Thanks.
Danny still has all 4 of his grandparents too. If Grandma would pass, she'd be the first grandparent for him to lose (and the one he is closest to). I lost all of my grandparents (save my father's mom) before I was born. My Bubba died when I was 6, so I don't really remember much about her passing. It's definitely rough.
Yeah, I know I'm not going to take it well at all when any of mine pass....
I really hope Danny gets to spend some quality time with his Grandma in the next few weeks. For me it's hard because my Poppa that I"m closest too isn't doing well and I struggle because I don't like seeing him frail but at the same time I want to spend as much time with him as possible.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Stand up for something you believe in.
Grandpa probably knows, but all MIL decided to pass on was that "she's living on borrowed time." So who knows why she has the CHF.
