Holy crap!
This morning around 5:30 we thought we heard three gunshots. When I left for work, there were cops and yellow crime scene tape at a house around the corner from us. Soooo creepy! The gunshots were spread out (like a few minutes apart.) I'm really curious about what happened...
DH is going on a business trip in a few weeks. Now I'm going to be totally creeped out! I have a feeling my dogs will be by my side the entire time DH is gone.

OMG!! How scary!
When we first got married my DH had to go on a business trip to California for 3 weeks. I was so scared to stay in our new house by myself and we only had one dog at the time but she barks at every little noise. He decided to have an alarm put in so we both would feel more safe. The first night he was gone I was watching the news and there was a breaking story about a murder that was 5 blocks from our house, and to make matters worse, the killer was on the loose and they were searching every where for him!! Needless to say, I did not sleep at all that night!!

I don't know what's going on in this state...my mom called me this morning to tell me there was a robbery and "mass" shooting [6 people were tied up to be shot execution-style; 3 were shot and the other 3 got away] in Lawton last night. Holy cow man.
I'm glad things are OK! That's definitely scary.
Oh my goodness! Scary! I'm a little glad now that I'm home from work this week! Lawton gets nuttier by the day! There must be crazy in the air this week though. Mon early am, a car drove out of our apt parking lot and straight into the irrigation ditch across the street (about 50 ft down).
I'd have sh!t my pants if someone got shot 5 blocks from my house! The closest I've ever been to that was when we still lived in OKC and the guy on base shot his kids and himself that day. And that was almost 1 mile away.
What do you mean that's the wrong side? Tastes great to me!
