As a former smoker, I'm sorry...
...to all those nonsmokers over the years that I've grossed out with the disgusting stench of lingering smoke.
I am currently training the temp who will be my replacement during my leave (who was an hour late on her first two days - I don't have high hopes for this one) and she positively reeks of cigarette smoke and there's not one thing I can do about it. It's making me nauseous. I just feel bad for having done that to so many folks while I was a smoker because it is truly disgusting.

ummmm gross. one of my it guys is like that. you can tell when he is in the building based on the smell of the hallway.
jess- i am sure you were, at a minimum, slightly less offensive.

I had one nurse in the mat ward who smelled like this. I quickly requested another. I was already so nauseous from delivery that I didn't need the help of the smokey nurse.
My husband had biitched at me about it for YEARS but because I lived with my parents for so long, who both smoke, I never realized just how bad it is. My car STILL smells and there's nothing I can do about it, which blows.
It makes me mad at myself all over again for being a dumbasss 13 year old trying to be cool with her friends and smoking in the first place!
