PIP your MOH. Would you still choose the same person?
Re: PIP: MOH
My MOH was my sister, and I"d absolutely still choose her. A, she's my sister. and B, she's uber laid back and keeps me chill when I wouldn't otherwise be chill. So she really made a perfect MOH, even from 850 miles away.
My MOH was my sister, Amanda. We're just under 2 years apart, and she's my bff for life. If I had gotten married 20 years from now, I'd still choose her.
She was more nervous than me that day. And she balled throughout the whole ceremony. I was basically the one keeping it together for both of us.
She laced up that whole dress. Bless her heart.
And here she is just a little too excited that she didn't catch the bouquet. ;-)
I have to put two because I love both these pictures so much. I absolutely would choose the same person. My MOH was my best friend Maggie. No one would have done it better and there was no one else I would rather have had standing beside me that day.
We both love this candid of us laughing...it's so "us"
This is from our "photo shoot" that we did at our wedding because when she got married 3 months earlier and I was her MOH the photographer took one picture of just her and I together and we weren't even in our dresses yet. We decided that needed to be rectified.
I had two - BFF Destinee on the left, older sister Angelique on the right. If I had it to do over again, I would have just had Angelique. Having two MOH's caused a lot of conflict over who got to do what. Plus, sadly, after 15 years, Destinee and I have pretty much ended our friendship. If I got married over again, she wouldn't be in it.
I had 2 MOHs. One was my sister, Erin, and the other was my friend Diana.
Diana was the absolute ideal MOH. She is probably the most mature, organized person I know. Therefore, she was amazing whenever it came to needing help with anything with the wedding. Because Erin is disabled, she wasn't able to help with any MOH/Bridesmaids tasks, hence the reason I had 2 bridesmaids.
If I had to do over again, I'm not so sure I would pick the same people as MOH. At the time I know it was the right decision and I don't regret who I picked but I don't know if I'd do it the same if my wedding was tomorrow.
My MOH was my youngest sister, Cori.
I always thought I'd pick my sister who's closer to me in age, but when the time came, she was just totally unreliable for anything. My youngest sister wasn't much better TBH. She was living in Canada at the time, so she was pretty uninvolved as well. I picked her cause she was my sister, not because I thought she'd be a great MOH. Luckily, I had awesome girlfriends who picked up the slack:)
If I had to do it again, I'm not sure what I'd do. Probably the same thing, I guess.

My MOH was my friend Stephanie. She was amazing - even though she was getting married herself 3 weeks later (I was her MOH!) and she lived in Wisconsin at the time (she's back in OH now) she did everything and was perfect! Would definitely pick the same person.
I had two. The are both my step-sisters and they did a great job. I had originally picked my two cousins and they bailed for an Aerosmith concert that got canceled. My step-sisters stepped up and helped me keep my head on straight.
My sister was my MOH and I would definitely pick her again.
I'm a little late on my post, but my sister was my MOH.
She's young, and she didn't really know how to be a MOH, so my best friend helped her a lot. With that said, there is no one I would have rather had up there than her. Over the last 2 years, we've become even closer. And, I often think that if I were to do it again, I'd only have my sister standing there with me....not even the other bridesmaids.
