I know we had a thread a little while ago talking about lasagna and how some of you make it. When I normally make lasagna it never holds up well, I guess because there is too much moisture when I bake it from cooking the noodles prior to assembly. I am making lasagna to take to a friend's house tonight who just recently had a baby. I bought the No Boil Lasagna noodles for the dish to see if that makes a difference. My question is, do I need to use more sauce when using these noodles? Do any of you ladies use the no boil noodles when making Lasagna?
Re: Cooking Lasagna ?
I only use no-boil noodles. They say you need extra sauce but I don't really use that much extra. I like it to be a little more firm, and then others can add sauce after if they want.
It kind of depends on how big of a lasagna you're making but I feel like I might use two jars - a little less (and I make a HUGE pan).
