Thanks! We picked it to honor my MIL, who is unfortunately losing her long battle with cancer. Her name is Carol. She will not be around long enough to meet Caroline, which is devastating to us both. She has fought this cancer for 9 long years....Mabel was my beloved grandmother's name. Some of you may recall back when she died just before my wedding. Both women are very special to DH and I and we are proud to name our daughter after two such strong women with fighting spirits.

Her cancer took a very sudden, rapid decline....so there hasn't been anytime to do anything like that, unfortunately. She went from being somewhat active to sleeping 20 hrs a day and barely recognizing people in a matter of a week. Hopsice has given her a week or so left. She is pretty out of it.

 

Thanks for your condolences though. There is a regular poster on this board has told my extended family all my personal posts, so I can't really come on here often. It sucks because this has been the absolute worst summer of my life and I really could have used some support here. I appreciate your kind words though.

My C is named after me, my mom and my Greatgrandma.  Her middle name is my Grandma's(who passed when I PG with her).
