It's Thursday.

I am up early. My toddler is displeased with this. I made him get up too.

So plans? What's for dinner?

So if you could go on a vacation right now, Where would you go and with whom? bonus points for links or pics.

  • Work as usual today then the Fort Wayne Trolley Tour tonight!! The Trolley Tour goes to a bunch of local art museums and provides food and drinks at each one. The trolley runs for several hours and you just hop on and off at your leisure. I guess they do it every year, but this is my first time, so I'm excited!

Vacation plans? This is hard because I'm always planning my next vacation. The last week in December, I will be down in Florida for a wedding. Next August, hubs and I are planning to celebrate our 1-yr anniversary in Alaska, so I've been putting that together. I had hoped to run down to Washington DC for a long weekend this spring but I haven't started putting that together yet. If I could go anywhere right now, it would be the Alaska trip with hubs, but I need someone else to pay for it because I'm still recovering from the wedding! =)

  • Woke up with a headache, and can't find the book I need to do my homework with at the community college library, so I have to wait til Zach gets off work and have him call the Purdue library (they won't talk to or let in non-Purdue students or staff, morons) and see if they have the item(s) I need and let us come use them. I don't want to check them out - especially since it's a whole volumized set - I just need to get the answers for a homework assignment. They can keep their crummy books.

My main plan was to make stir fry for dinner, but at the rate I'm going, I may tell Zach he can make it, or we'll be dining out. The only bright side to  today is that I usually work 12-8, but I traded out so I work all day Saturday now, and get today off. Kinda nice for a change, and a week from today, we're leaving for our anniversary trip.

OK, vacation now....Ireland. We've been wanting to go for a few years now, but just don't have the funds. More specifically, Dublin, since that's where all the places we want to see are.

  • Tonight's dinner is Buffalo Chicken casserole.

Sounds weird but is yummy and only 441 calories per serving.

I have walked 3 miles again today. Then I had lunch and now about to go exercise some more since the toddler is sleeping. I really am determined to be smaller.

Last night I got in the pics from my rock the dress session. CLICKY Overall I am happy with the pictures. I was totally making weird faces sometimes. And in the set taken at foster park I look like I was falling out of my dress. The photographer put e int he dress and did not do it so well. But hey the pictures were free. A friend of my mom's daughter is a photography student and was practicing on me. So I am thrilled.

As for a vacation, I want to go to Jamaica.  With the husband and kids. And a nanny so We can have alone time too. Beaches looks like a good place is an all inclusive so no worries and they provide childcare.

We plan on going on a cruise next spring. With our extended families. Will be interesting. I want to lose weight so I look awesome for it.  And so I can do more without getting tired.

If you make it to Ireland, consider swinging by Galway. I loved it 10x better than Dublin

  • First, I want to give huge props to you ladies for bringing the IN board back to life! I have been nesting 2 years consistently and this is the most activity I have seen in a long time!

Now for the real questions.....packing and picking up the house! DH and I leave for a three day weekend to South Bass Island in Lake Erie tomorrow. This is an early 4th anniversary trip for us--our anniv. is 9/29, but my cousin is getting married 10/1 and so we are busy with all those activities next weekend.

Then we get to sleep in tomorrow, wake up, and go! I am just so excited for three days with nothing planned! I am taking a book, stack of magazines and some wine :)

NOW for my dream trip--Italy. It is my must do trip before TTC, and is likely still a couple years off. I have dreamed of going there since high school, and cannot wait to go with DH, who is half italian himself!

Oh and dinner tonight? Ummmm looking like frozen pizza or whatever can be tossed together from whats in the fridge. I LOVE to cook and normally have a weeks menu in place :)

Both of our families go to Florida for Christmas.  so looking forward to that.

and doing this: http://www.statedock.com/visit-the-marina/houseboats/state-dock-1000-mega-cat/ with a bunch of couples next summer. absolutely looking forward to this!!

dream vacation would have to be a cruise.  they're the best types of vacations :) IMO

Thanks for the tip! I wound up going to the Purdue library, and they didn't have what I needed - well, they had it, but it's from 1997 and it's on microfilm. I need 2011 in a bound copy, as I need the page numbers for the homework assignment. I emailed my professor, and she's being nice enough to work with me on this. We'll see what happens. It's just been one of those days - I need a beer or something.

  • Dinner and a yet to be determined movie with the husband.  Probably Outback since they are one of few places I can eat out here.

If I could go on my dream vacation right now.  We'd go to Choupana Hills Resort & Spa in Funchal, Portugal on Madeira Island where my Grandmother was from originally.

This is the iew from the resort at night on the island.  We're planning that for 2012 or 2013.  Since we can't do that now, our vacation next week will include:
