June 08 Anny Board is having a Chicago Playdate

Hey ladies!

I seek recommendations from the June 2008 Anniversary Board. We are planning a GTG in Chicago, or more like a playdate for us and our LO's. Right now we are looking for affordable, yet nice accomodations in the downtown area. (Our plans so far are babies/toddlers in Millenium Park and The Museum of Science and Industry if that helps location wise.)

Also, are there any events we should avoid in March, Apr, May?

Thanks in advance!

  • Anything on Michigan Ave will be nice, you can find good pricing on hotels.com or priceline.com. Parking can be up to $30 a day so best to carpool or take buses.

S&I is pretty far south, there is the #6 bus that will take you to the front door that you can catch on Michigan Ave & Madison.

March & April weather is pretty iffy still here. May will be warmer, maybe high 50's to the low 60's.

www.explorechicago.org is a good site to see what is happening downtown.
