New mom fashion help, please.
Well I am trying to find a few pieces of clothing for PP, in the hospital as well as in the first few weeks/months. Something with easy BFing access but also enough coverage and I don't look like I'm wearing a mumu. I don't think they make nursing bras in my size (uber large!) and I doubt that sports bras would be convenient. (?) I found a cute maxi dress on LB/Cacique that I think may work? But again, FTM here and I get frustrated with clothing to begin with, let alone trying to fit my PP body.
Help!
Re: New mom fashion help, please.
Honestly, I just wore the hospital gown while we were there. It was way easier than trying to get dressed and figuring out what worked. I have a couple of maternity tank tops from Motherhood that I wore once we got home with a zip-up hoodie on top and yoga pants. I didn't want to wear any dresses for awhile because I wanted the added security of pants. The pads they send you home with are rather, uh, large.
Have you looked around for nursing bras in your size? I have a few sleeping ones that are more like sports bras and they're stretchy. Super comfy too. If your going to be nursing full time you'll want the support of a bra for sure. Plus, you'll need something to put nursing pads in incase you leak.

Check out Bravado bras. I loved these. I wore these for a year. They are expensive, but the fit was great and they held up well. Nursing tanks didn't work at all for me.
If you are looking for nursing wear. I loved MILK nursingwear. Here is a link. I also found nursing pajama tops at BRU that crossed over for easy night nursing.
