5 year Anniversary gift help
So for 5 years its Wood So i am having the Hardest time thinking of something to get for Dh & also for him to get me.
I found a couple Willow tree figures i like so i am going to show him those. But I want to give him a couple Diff idea's!
Has for Dh, I'm not sure! He works for a video game company, Likes to play on his computer, play video games, & read.

I'm always a fan of jewelry for myself. New earrings? Necklace?
For DH: Kindle? extra memory for his computer? A portable Hard drive? A backup server for the house? Steak and BJ?
Im getting him a new hard drive for his computer since his one is almost dead! But trying to think of something that he will see all the time.
Has for the Steak & Bj. If We didn;t have DD here then i would Say yes, but SInce She will be home & All thats Out.

yea Ours is the 7th So i have 2 weeks from today to find something for him!
Now me I gave him a couple idea's.
We are hoping to go to a nice dinner.
If you want to stick with the wood idea, and are kind of open to interpreting it:
- I think I'd probably get DH a tree we could plant in our yard (or in a pot, for the time being), something he would like that could maybe grow with us over time
- If he's a nature lover, take him camping in the woods. Or get a cabin for a weekend.
- There are some really nice wood frames out there -- we got a koa one in Kauai when we went for our honeymoon. You could put a photo of you guys in it, from your wedding or not. Or you could go get a new portrait taken of the two of you. Or you could have some b-pics done and put one of those in there

We have A friend Watching her After school for us so we can go to dinner & maybe a movie. She can't stay over night because she has Soccer Saturday Morning & Since I'm the Coach I have to be there.
So We are thinking of doing the Wine Celler in Los gatos for dinner & then a movie if not then just a Nice walk in downtown.

Do you have to get a gift for each one of you, or could you get one gift for the both of you? I was thinking of a nice wooden bowl (optional: with the servers) that you could use for salad or fruit. Or a wooden decorative bowl, vase, or box to hold special items (jewelries, memorabilia, home keys, etc).
There are wooden picture frames, some are even in the shape of a cube. There are wooden statues (couple kissing, family, heart, etc). Or outdoor/indoor plants. Or a wooden decorative sign (something with humor, or a "welcome" sign for the house).
I got his a New Video Card for his Computer, & i think he is getting me one of my Willow tree figures.
the problem is He feels bad because his Video Card was $400.00 & my willow tree is $30.00!
