Weird clicky

so, you know how I'm scheduling a massage appointment for H?  Well, I also thought I'd ask my parents because I know they get massage now and then.  Well, my dad recommended this place called Elements and there is a location near us.  The lady on the phone was super nice and if you're new, you get $30 off your first visit, score! 

Anyway, she asked if he would prefer a male or female.  I have no idea?!  She said that at the time I wanted, there was only a male and she said then many men think he's great.  So I scheduled it.  I don't *think* my H is really the type to freak out (I mean, he's in medicine, so he has to do weird things all the time, lol), but in the back of my mind I'm half worried that he might.  He hasn't ever had this kind of massage before - the only thing we've done is go to that Chinese foot massage place (super awesome btw) and they are usually guys doing it, but you keep all your clothes on.

I voted I don't know....but really it's "I don't know, but am pretty sure he wouldn't want a male"........I wouldn't say it would be definitely not....but I think he would muchhhh prefer a woman massaging him, then a man. I think there is just something weird about a man massaging another man....but since your H is in medicine he may be much more comfortable with that sort of thing.

 

eta: you must have added that last option, "probably not" after I voted.....either that or I am weird and didn't see it, or my comp sucks. oh well.

I don't think it's weird.  But, we get massages and DH definitely doesn't want a man, ever.  He would forego a massage if it was only a man.  It's stupid, but that's how he is.

I prefer men b/c they're stronger, although I think I feel more comfortable with a woman.  I guess he just feels more comfortable with a woman too.

I'm not really sure how to explain it. It seems stupid to think it's weird.....but I just can totally hear my H saying something along the lines of "I don't want a man's strong hands massaging my __________ insert body part...."

 

I am def going to ask him tonight to see what he says. haha

I guess I could see a more relaxing massage being awkward with a guy (Seinfeld episode anyone?? lol), but H is going to have something like a deep tissue massage - or at least that's what I scheduled because I think he really needs to get the tension/stress stuff taken care of.  I'll give him a relaxing massage later

I voted yes, because he will never got to the lady I go to because he thinks that is just way to weird. So I'm sure he would go to a guy!

I voted absolutely not, but that's because my H doesn't like strangers touching him AT ALL. I've been trying to get him to get a massage because he's always so tense, but he won't do it. Therefore, even a woman would weird him out.

He's has been fine with massages by men in the past, but he prefers massages by women.  I'm more comfortable with a woman, as well.
