How is everything going with the new house?

It's great to finally own it.  We're slowly working on things that we put off until we closed.  I just painted the bathroom yesterday, as that was my least favorite as it was beige and had an ugly stencil on the wall.  There's so much we want to do on the house, if only we had more time and money.

Why did you choose to go to Prague?

It was our honeymoon compromise; I wanted to go to Prague and DH wanted to go to New Zealand.  Since NZ is a much bigger trip I said we could go there as long as we went to Prague for our anniversary.  I picked Prague because I love old European cities and always wanted to go there, and Prague is supposed to be really romantic.

    How did DH propose?

DH gave me the cryptoquip pictured below. The solution was "Marry Me", which I guessed on the first try. Inside was a beautiful sapphire and then the next day we went to pick out a setting for the sapphire together.

What food could you eat every day?

Ice cream!  And I do eat it most days... just wish it wasn't so bad for me.

    Do you like beans?

Yes, as vegetarian I eat A LOT of them.

    If so, what kind?

I love fresh green and yellow beans from my parents garden.  Otherwise, black beans are my favorite and pinto my least favorite.

    What's your favorite color?

Blue!  Which is why I have a sapphire instead of a diamond.  My wardrobe is disproportionately blue.

    What's your favorite scent?

For perfume my fav is Clinique Happy.  Otherwise I love ocean scented stuff.

Who is your least favorite "famous" person in the world?

Brittany Spears/Lindsay Lohan/other teen celebrities that are role models for little girls, but are the last person that should ever be a role model.

Who is your favorite "famous" person in the world?

Nobody comes to mind.  Maybe Oprah as she has done a lot of good in the world with her fame.  Bill Gates has also done a lot with his foundation to give back.

    What is your dream job?

Well I wish I was independently wealthy, so that I could travel all the time and just do a lot of charity work with my free time.  More realistically I'd like to start my own higher education consulting company.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

I like living in Buffalo because that is where most of my family and many of my friends live.  If money and the people factor were not involved in the US I would like to live in San Francisco, and internationally I would live in Europe, either Germany or Switzerland as those are pretty central so I could take lots of train trips to visit other places.
