It's Friday! Weekend plans?

Oh thank goodness it's Friday, really (though I could get used to these three-day weeks). What do you have planned for the weekend?

Re: It's Friday! Weekend plans?

  • Tonight: date night with DH so after we put E to bed DH will pick a movie for us to watch.

Tomorrow: E has a playdate and then we might go to the Children's book festival.

Sunday: Sunday Funday is happening in my town so we are going in the morning and meeting up with friends.

(Sorry, all my plans are baby related)

  • I'm going to a funeral today for my neighbor's grandma...they're like family so she was like my local grandma when mine was far away on the East Coast.

Tomorrow my friend is having a "stacheball" game for her 30th birthday-We're play softball while wearing mustaches. She likes weird theme parties!

And, my sister is being induced tomorrow so I'll have niece or nephew #6 tomorrow!!! My sister's second baby....I'm excited to find out if it's a boy or girl!!

  • I'm going to hear a band play at a winery tonight with some good food being served. After that, don't really know. Maybe go see Moneyball sometime this weekend. Lots of reading in store too.

  • Sat: Taking my dog to dog training class, maybe painting the trim in our living/dining area (finally, ha-ha) and moving a geranium plant from one pot to a bigger one...exciting I know.

Sun: Trail run with a running group and bbq at a friend's house for her daughter's birthday.

  • Well this weekend is the first day I have off since the 10th. Tomorrow I have a hair appt in the early afternoon then I have my 10 year high school reunion in the evening. on Sunday we have nothing planned. And I am stoked about it. I do have a groupon for bowling so we might redeem that.

  • Tonight we're ... uh ... I have no idea.  We're having a roast for dinner, then maybe we'll watch a little tv or hang out on the deck?

Tomorrow morning I have an OWS at Folsom Lake, then we're going to get some Krispy Kremes and do a little retail therapy.

Sunday we have church and then we're going to Lion King 3D

    We're lame, I think.

  • Tonight I'm announcing for the football games (well, I think it's actually DH who will be doing the talking)

I don't know what we'll do the rest of the weekend.  If it cools off, maybe Happy Hollow or something.

  • Tonight - taking my parents to dinner because it's been one year that they've put up with me being back home and one year since I "left" my ex-h.

Saturday - cleaning, doing laundry and then I have a hair appt.  Hoping to spend the evening/night with The Boy but not sure how tired he'll be since he has to work all weekend (he usually has off Fri/Sat/Sun but he has to work mad OT all weekend).

Sunday - Church in the morning, then back home to finish up stuff there.  Then, back to The Boys place to clean (he cleans like such a guy that I can't stand it!) and make dinner and get ready for the week - to include getting dinners prepped.

So, yeah - totally lame weekend!

  • Tonight we will be going to the gym and then watching some TV.

Saturday we have plans to clean the house together and then do homework.

Sunday we both have to work. We're so exciting, I bet you're jealous.

  • Studying, studying and more studying. And school work. And reviewing research articles and preparing for projects and clinic. With a little cleaning thrown in when I need a brain break. Super exciting stuff. Also hoping to paint the gigantic bookshelf in our office and anchor it to the wall (sanded and primed it last weekend) so I can put this wallpaper on the inside back next weekend:

  • Last night (our Friday): went out for the first time sans baby to the USA vs. Australia rugby world cup game.

Tonight: errands, dinner out with the family and a couple of friends, watching the All Blacks vs France game

Sunday: catch up with a friend, farmer's market, and grocery shopping, making baby food.

  • Tonight: going to the opera with H and my dad! My former voice teacher is singing a lead role, and I know lots of people in the chorus. I've been hearing nothing but spectacular reviews about this production, so I'm really excited.

Tomorrow: our church is hosting the annual Presbytery meeting (ugh), so H and I are singing in the choir for that, and then probably going out to brunch. Then probably laundry, lesson planning, and the like.

Sunday: church, shopping with my mom for a rolling teacher cart, and then I have a singing gig. I'm singing a couple arias at a benefit for a local community college, so that should be fun and hopefully maybe get me some future gigs.

  • I just pulled together a solo 10 day Oregon/Washington road trip, and I'm so excited! I've never done such a long road trip all by myself, and I think it's going to be really fun. Leaving early tomorrow morning!
  • Wow, have fun P! Post pics.
