WHAT"S EATING MY PETUNIAS?

I have a problem. Ive finally grown some petunias and they are thriving. But one day I came home from work and notived that all the flowers were gone. They looked like they had been snipped off (long story, another post). Well I let it go when they started growing new flowers. But once again I came home from work and the flowers were mysteriously gone. Im realy starting to get annoyed. I think something must be eating them but what?

Re: WHAT"S EATING MY PETUNIAS?

  • Groundhogs?  Rabbits?  I've had problems with both eating my petunias so I don't plant them anymore.
  • We do have ground hoggs around too. I don't know if they eat petunias but im mad at them. Once again ive come home from work and my flowers are gone. These new ones were only there for two days.

  • That's weird because petunias are sticky/stinky and animals don't usually go for that.  Are they in full bloom when they get chomped?  Weird.  Someone must be really hungry!
