nesting without pants...trend?

So I've noticed lurking around the nest that there is a lot of talk about nesting without pants and everyone makes it sound like it's such a novel idea. Am I the only person in the world that thinks its completely normal not to wear pants in my own home? Seriously, I walk in the door, drop my backpack/purse, take off my shoes, pants, and bra. I can guarantee you that if I'm at my house, I'm mostly unclothed lol.

Re: nesting without pants...trend?

  • I definitely think it's normal. I change as soon as I get in the house. Although, I usually put other pants on, I don't blame people who don't.

  • Haha, when I walk in I drop the purse/bags, and sometimes the bra comes off even before shoes.  God I hate bras - most of the time I wear a tank with a shelf bra, but I'm a C and my boobs are already sinking from my lack of bra wearing. I'm trying to do better.

Anyway, I usually shed the pants too, but in exchange for lounge pants.  I can't sit around in my skivvies, I just can't.

  • I think it's hilarious. I change as soon as I get home into comfy pants, whether it's sweat, pj pants, a pair of DH's boxers. The bra comes off as well... I usually only go pantsless in the morning because I just sleep in a tank or undies, so I roll out of bed and do my thing, sans pants.
  • When I started seeing those posts I was like wtf, doesn't everyone do this? And then the more I read of them the more it was like this genius novel idea that some girl had invented to *gasp* not wear pants in your own home! It was like someone had given them permission to go pants-less, and I found it hilarious
  • I saw this, too...and I'm totally in the normally pants-less camp! I only wear pants at home if I'm cold or if I have people over. 98% of the time I'm bra-less as well. I love home!
