2 shows I just don't care anymore

I just can't even force myself to watch:

Glee or Jersey Shore anymore.  Anyone have anything to add?

Re: 2 shows I just don't care anymore

  • Desperate Housewives
  • I agree with Jersey Shore.  I stopped watching last season with the whole Sammi/Ronnie drama.  Couldn't take it anymore.

  • I agree with Jersey Shore. I thought I would be more into this season because while I was in Florence, they Jwow and Snookie actually ran into my dad almost knocking him over. I knew we wouldn't be on tv or anything (nor would I want to be), but I guess I wanted to see some of the same spots we were in. I have been watching, but I just can't get into it. I can't imagine what people thought of them over there...

  • ITA about Glee; not worth the valuable space on my DVR. Same for Jersey Shore.

I'll have to add Teen Mom to that list. I made it through this season, but I just can't do it anymore. If I need a TM fix I'll get it through the blogs.

  • ITA about Glee.  And I'm surprised I feel this way considering how into it I was when it first aired.  Now?  I just don't care.

Private Practice is another.  No clue what's going on.

  • I liked Glee for the first half of season 1 and gave it a chance until halfway through season 2 and I couldn't do it anymore.

I also gave up on Chuck last season.  At one point it was my favorite show.

  • Drop Dead Diva.-  i think I watched one episode this entire season, and I don't miss it at all.

RHofNJ- I'll watch it if I remember but if I forget- eh- who cares.

  • I'm over Teen Mom and if Private Practice doesn't really turn around this season I'm going to completely give ul on it.

I'm about half a season away from being right there with you. It used to be my end all, be all show, but I find myself only moderately interested. If this season doesn't turn out to be amazing, I'll probably quit altogether. Though with Rachel, Finn and Kurt graduating, I am sure I won't be alone.

  • I know it hasn't started up again yet, but I have no interest in Idol anymore. I tried last season and the season before ... I just can't do it.
  • I've never watched a full episode of Jersey Shore! But it sounds like I'm not missing anything, lol.

I'm pretty much over Glee and Grey's. I haven't watched Idol in 3 seasons, it holds no appeal for me at all anymore. I gave up House 2 seasons ago.

  • I am going to give up Gossip Girl and Desperate Housewives.  That frees up 2 hours a week, and down the road if I ever want to catch up and see how the series ended I can just get the dvds.

  • I gave up on Greys like 2 years ago and haven't missed it. At one point it was my favorite show ever.
  • 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom.  I got sick of them because it was the same crap over and over again.  If the recent seasons end up coming to Netflix then I might watch them, but I don't have cable and don't feel like it's worth my time to keep up online right now.

I almost stopped watching American Idol last season and may not next season.  The last few seasons just haven't been very good.

I've started watching the X Factor, but we'll see how it goes.  So far it's cheesy, overly dramatic, and boring.

  • I'm kind of surprised that so many feel that way about Glee. I was pretty happy with the season opener, and my daughter was just telling me that her friends who had been kind of 'over' it had told her that after they saw the season opener they were kind of excited about it again.
  • Gossip Girl and House. I recorded all of last year and never had the urge to watch them.  I deleted them so I could record all the new stuff that is on.

  • CSI, it's just the same old storylines but now with Ted Danson.
  • I gave up on Secret Life a long time ago. I just could not stand the acting.

  • Glee, Grey's, Jersey Shore
  • Glee (which surprised me because I loved it when it first came out) and Grey's Anatomy.
  • Pretty much all shows. I think television is dismal. I'm just not into it anymore. I like The Big C... I'm kind of over everything else.
  • Private Practice, Glee, Desperate, Greys.

  • I decided this week to drop Millionaire Matchmaker.  It just seems like Patti yelling and cursing at people all the time.
  • Biggest Loser.  Who has time to watch a 2 hour show?

  • I gave up on House midway through last season and it looks like CSI is on its way out. I don;t care that much for Ted Danson, I will probably give it another episode or 2 but it barely has a pulse for me.

I gave this one up too but last season.

  • Biggest Loser (although I do like to watch the last episode), Two and A Half Men (Same story line every episode, too predictable) and Secret Life (Became so unrealistic).

Me too. Especially the main character's sister (I forget her name). I seriously think she's the worst actress I've seen on TV.
  • I gave up on Desperate Housewives sometime last season, I turned it on last night because nothing else was on and changed the channel in about 30 seconds.  I gave up on Grey's Anatomy about 2 seasons ago.
