Closing on Friday - Question

Hi all! I've been a lurker but have a question. 

We close on our house on Friday. Should I call to be sure that everything is still on track to close? Who do I call?

This thought didn't even enter my mind until I read a couple threads that suggested that others are doing this.

I would call your loan officer. We were supposed to close last Friday but knew by Wednesday that due to some computer issues on their end we are not closing until tuesday. We got the "clear to close" at the end of the day on Friday finally.

We're also suppose to be closing friday....and we've yet to receive our clear to close. We're waiting on one additional document so I've been calling our loan officer every other day or so to make sure things are on track.

We're supposed to close on Friday too and have yet to receive the clear to close doc.  I'll be calling daily until we get it. Congrats and good luck to all the others closing this week.

def call and find out. We were supposed to close on a Friday and Wednesday I found out that the owner had to get a permit on the deck on the house, so it got pushed back which in turn messed up our rate lock and was a huge hassle. DEF DEF stay on top of everyone.

Yes call.  We were suppose to close last Friday and then it got moved to this Friday but then it was moved again to October 7. It is annoying so stay on top of them.

We're closing tomorrow, and I had DH e-mail our REA and loan officer over the weekend to make sure everything was still all set. We didn't receive all of the paperwork like we were supposed to this morning, so DH e-mailed again to make sure it was coming through today.

It did, but it was a pain to stay on top of them. I know they do this every day, but we started to think something was wrong when we didn't hear for a few days!
