Infant Care in SW burbs

Hi All,

I am prego now and getting concerned about where to take my baby in the SW burbs.  I am hearing that some places have a pretty long wait list and I would like to get in now before the baby gets here. Any suggestions????

Re: Infant Care in SW burbs

  • Where exactly are you looking?  My best friend takes her son to Dr. Paul Ashinburg (I'm not sure if that is how you spell his last name) and adores him.  He is located in Joliet.  Dr. Paul (as he goes by, since his dad is also a pediatrician in the same practice) always gets her son in, usually that day if necessary, and she's never had to wait more than one day.  When her son was admitted to the hospital, Dr. Paul (even though he wasn't on call or anything) came into the hospital to check on him, and calls her at home when he has been sick or whatever to see how he's doing and if they have any questions or need anything.  Dr. Paul really truly cares about his patients and their parents.

  • Thank you.  I am looking for daycare or a nanny.  I live in Evergreen Park so anything in the area would be great.

  • I totally realized that the first time I read your post, which is why I didn't say anything, and then I re-read it, and for some reason it didn't click for me yesterday.  Its been one of those weeks!  Anyways, congrats on the baby!
