Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Will we ever close!?
SS timeline in siggy. We were supposed to close by 9/15. LO told us that would be no problem, then he vanished on a vacation we were never told about and when he came back he told us it was sent to underwriting on 9/2. I finally called USDA last Tuesday because we were pissed/in freak out mode, since he said he had emailed them and they hadn't done the electronic update on 9/14 like they were supposed too.
USDA received it on 9/14. I called LO pissed and he said A. he never told me we'd make close (LIES), B. He never said he sent it on 9/2 (MORE LIES!!)
I think the guy at USDA felt bad for me because when I called file had not been assigned and the next day had been reviewed. (last Wed)
HOWEVER,
they had questions about our appraisal's land to house value & if the land could be subdivided (no it's a little over 1acre. In our county it has to be 5 or more, I think).
IF the appraiser would have replied Wed evening, we could have closed Friday. I didn't talk to LO Friday but as far as I know appraiser hasn't responded to LO to send to USDA.
Our SS approval expires this Friday. Not 1 aspect of this entire thing has gone according to plan. Our appraisal was delayed, our water failed & took 2 weeks to pass, etc.
In our approval it clearly states from BOA that IF an extension is granted we have to pay some type of fee to them. FML.
