Usually, Levi would fall alseep on the couch around 9:30ish and then I would put him in his crib, and he'd sleep until around 3 am, wake up crying, and come to bed with me. I swear he hated his crib. I could not lay him down drowsy, or he'd scream. He also had to be dead to the world. I tried to CIO a few times, but he screamed for almost an hour once and that was enough for me.
So, Saturday, we put Levi's big boy bed together. My MIL had a set of bunk beds, so we are using the top bunk for his bed, since it has the rail around it.
Saturday evening he wanted in his bed around 9:30. So I layed with him for awhile, but I had cookies in the oven, so DH switched me and laid with him. He was asleep in his bed by 9:45/10:00. He slept in his bed until about 6:30 am.
Lasnight at 8:45, I had him give DH kisses and say Night Night. We went up to his bed and laid down. By 9:10 he was asleep and I was back downstairs. He slept until 7:45 am!
Re: Transition= success!

That's awesome! Yay Levi!
I'm terrified to make the transition to B's big boy bed. His crib is convertable, so it's not an issue, but I'm worried he'll be in and out of his bed all night long. I love that he's "confined" in his crib. So far he hasn't even tried to climb out of his crib, but we'll see how long that lasts. He's such a good sleeper now that I don't want to jinx anything!
