Sunday- Stuffed Shells
Tonight- Crabs and macaroni at my parents' house
Rest of the week- I would like to try this recipe one night:
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/slow-cooker-chicken-and-dumplings/detail.aspx
I have the makings for chili, so I will probably make that one night also, since it is one of DH's faves.
DH was drooling over Red Robin's Oktoberfest Burger last night when a commercial ran for it on TV and since I have a gift card, we may trek up there on Thursday night.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday- I have to work on Sat and Sun and I won't know what times until later in the week, so probably something quick and easy (pizza, leftovers, etc.)
Re: What's Cooking?
sun- burgers al pastor, cilantro fries, dulce de leche banana cream pie
mon- veggie quesedillas, black beans and rice
tues- pork chops
weds- i have a work event so we will be doing something simple like leftovers or kielbasa and perogies.
thurs- no idea. we have ground beef so maybe a chili.
fri- sausage and peppers sandwiches
Monday: Some sort of canned soup, since that's all I want right now is soup. it will be either Italian wedding or chicken and dumplings.
Tuesday: I have some soup mix from Harry and David that I would like to throw in the crock pot if possible since I have my big growth u/s.
Wednesday: I imagine leftovers.
Thursday: country chicken with mashed potatoes (this could be interchangeable with Wednesday)
Friday - Something easy but I don't know what yet. Maybe just grilled cheese or something.
ering - please elaborate on these cilantro fries as I think my DH would go wild for them.
last night i made the veggie lasagna that i posted on the blog a few weeks back, along with some marinated chicken legs. dh is out of town until tuesday night so i will be eating the leftovers until they are finished.
i also made crab and pepperjack bisque over the weekend that i will be eating for lunches.
might do a pork tenderloin on weds/thurs - i have some sweet potato gnocchi that i want to use up.
friday dh suggested we do a date night since we slept in separate rooms all week so i could have the bed and all my germs to myself
i had a horrible cold and now that it's gone, he is away haha.
jess- here is the link to the recipe. it was good. the only thing i did differently was add about 1/4c olive oil and make the cilantro and garlic more of a pesto so it wasn't leaves of cilantro on my fries. they went well with the mexican-ish burgers. you could probably make them with some sort of grilled chicken and peppers and make it a little gd friendly for yourself (or an easy meal once that kiddo comes out)
eta: the link..... ugh.

start with a basic white fish, tilapia or flounder, since that is easiest. place in a casserole dish and top it with some butter, chopped garlic, lemon, and white wine and bake about twenty minutes till the fish is white and not translucent

Sun - we had Barefoot Contessa's turkey meatloaf -- SO GOOD!
Mon - I'm going to Verdad with girlfriends
Tues - thai curry chicken and zucchini over rice
Wed - gruyere and pear grilled cheese, butternut squash soup (got the idea from a post on here last week!)
Thurs - homemade pizza with pesto sauce, mozz cheese, & tomatoes
Anna - I do shrimp a lot...I keep it in the freezer and defrost for last minute dinners. I cook shrimp for stir fries, pesto pasta, pad thai, or just marinated and grilled.
Also, like Kelly said - tilapia, flounder, any other white fish is really easy to bake. I posted a couple good and easy salmon recipes on the blog a while back too.
