Huskers beat Wyoming 38-14 for our first road game.  We looked ok.  Our secondary really needs help.  We had a field goal attempt that I think was good but they apparently couldn't review it because it was too high.

Saturday we have Gameday and are playing Wisconsin.  That's going to be a tough one!

I was just talking about y'alls game with one of my students (his brother plays at Nebraska). Wisconsin is certainly going to be a tough challenge! They might be the team to beat this year.

Auburn won. Didn't do great but good enough for the W. We have a hellish few weeks with USCe and Arky on the road and Florida at home. It is going to suck.

We did get a decent look at our freshman QB Kiehl Frazier and he is going to be awesome, so that was great to see.

OSU beat A&M in crazy fashion, coming back from a 20-3 deficit at half and winning 30-29. They played lights out the second half; the turnaround from first to second half was just insane. They didn't play a perfect game, by any means [don't even get me started on Blackmon's stupid fumble in the end zone], but that game was awesome.

ugh. dominated the first half, came out flat in the second half. OSU did a great job of capitalizing on our mistakes, turning 2 (of 4) turnovers into 10 points. I don't know wtf happened the 3rd quarter.

Seriously!!  I couldn't believe that.

Mizzou played at Oklahoma.  We lost by 10, but there were definitely some moments of brilliance by the tigers.  They played a decent 1st and 4th quarter.  As we all know - you can't win games that way...especially against the team ranked #1 in the country.  They continue to improve each week which is great, but that doesn't equal W's each week.

ETA: GL to the Huskers this weekend.  I will definitely be cheering for you.

Ug, my Western Michigan team lost to Illinois by 3 pts.  We missed 2 field goal attempts & should have had a touchdown in the 1st half, the guy was wide open, but our QB threw it too far.  Any of those could have changed the game for us.

K-State beat Baylor 36-35 with a field goal. I was at the game and it was awesome! I think part of it was just the luck of the draw, our defense needs to improve still because Baylor was just shoving it down their throats and they can't defend the big plays (still better than last year!) but overall it was a pretty good game. I think Arthur Brown is living up to his hype, too bad his brother didn't pan out as well. And I think Collin Klein has improved since last year. K-State hasn't beat a ranked opponent since 2007 and now they're ranked for the first time since 2007 (I believe. I can't find anything to back that up now that I'm not sure lol).

That was a GREAT game!!     Snyder just can't ever retire again, he's the perfect fit for you KStaters!

My H said he has to die on the sidelines. If nothing else, he has to hand pick the next guy to come after him. Prince was a disaster and an article I read not too long ago said that Snyder regretted retiring almost immediately. It's what he loves to do and it shows.
