On Sunday my mom, sister, Jack and I headed to the city to the 911Memorial. We are on 684 and I see a bunch of cars stop and veer off infront of me, so I slow down also and look and see a car facing me head on, roof and windshield crushed.
The car had just stopped rolling from left shoulder settling in the right. I saw a person slumped in front and as I got closer kids in backseat. The car in front of me stopped and the guy got out. As did I while calling 911. The man got the kids out of the car and the women behind the wheel was bleeding from her arm and it was ripped badly at her elbow. An emt driving by stopped too at this point, needing a tourniquet I gave my scarf off my neck. We found her phone but it was shattered, she was able to tell her her husbands number whom I was able to reach. She lost conscious while waiting for the police. I left once they got there.
Today I received a phone call from her husband who thanked me, and the woman also got on the phone and said thank you, she is doing okay but her arm is messed up as it was outside the car as it rolled. It was nice to hear from them, I was hoping she would be okay. Someone was really looking over them, the kids had NOTHING on them.
I stopped because of seeing the kids, kids in accidents upset me. I also would want people to help me if ever....
