Re: Tuesday!

  • Morning, a lot of stress still going on today....being stuck in this limbo of waiting for others to make decisions is torture...

I haven't dressed up in many many years, but we may this year to go to a party...I have no idea what the costumes will be yet.

  • Morning ladies!

I spilled the dog food bin this morning and the corgi kids got an extra half cup of food before I could slow them down!

I am dressing up as a ballerina! I have the tutu from a few years ago. I am not a halloween fan, but we are going to a charity event this year so I can make an exception!

  • Leaving for Nashville to Honky Tonk and going out to dinner tonight.  I usually end up updating FB during these outings and it gets pretty funny according to our friends.  Should be a fun rest of the week there!

I do if I have somewhere to go.  I may drop in on a friend's gig as a Flapper or an 80's girl if I'm able at the time.  I really wnat to hit Broadway that night since it's fun for any and all Holidays.

  • My world.. hmm I really wish the rain would stop. I'm getting sick of it.  Made chili and cannot wait to eat it again tonight. I love chili!

I haven't dressed up for Halloween in a lonngg time.  If there's a costume party, then yes I will.

  • Good evening! I just got done with homework, so I officially have nothing to worry about until we get home. Other than packing.

I got the word today that our videographer will be dropping off our wedding video tomorrow night, so that's exciting! I'm also starting to plan our trip to Ireland, which won't happen for another 3-4 years, but it'll take us that long to save up the funds. I'm also not telling Zach about it, just let it be a surprise. Coincidentally, this trip'll also hit about the same time we're going to start TTC, so maybe we'll come home with more than just souvenirs.

Since I work at a library, and circulation is right next to the children's department, yes, I dress up if I work that night. Last year I was June Cleaver, this year I'm planning on being a soldier. I usually try to work it since we've got a few staffers who have kids to take trick-or-treating. Plus, our neighborhood is all geriatrics and college students, so we don't have anyone come to our door - this is the only way I get to pass out candy!

We are in a kidless neighborhood too.  I didn't think I would like it, but our house by the lake used to have imported Trick or Treaters.  It was at least 5-6 huge bags of candy every year.  I was glad to move away from that since half of the trick or treaters were well into HS.

  • My mom turns away the older kids usually, but even their neighborhood has more empty nesters than it used to, since all us kids have grown up and moved out.
