If you converted a crib to a full size bed
Was the bed really high up? We just did it this weekend and I can't imagine how hard it would be for her to get in if I hadn't gotten the low profile box spring. There is 11 inches of space under the bed which is much more than our own bed. I kept asking DH if he was sure that he did it right, but even after double checking it appears this is the way it is suppose to be. We have the babi italia pinehurst furniture. Just curious if this is normal or not. Teagan will be getting a pretty little step stool for her room now

Re: If you converted a crib to a full size bed
We converted my daughter's bed a few years ago. Yes, it is higher then I would have expected, she has gotten used to it.
I wish I would have known that the box spring wasn't necessary. I guess it does have good support. We were suprised to see how many slats for support went in the frame. Oh well. At least it's a low profile box spring and with a step stool she's fine.
I'm gonna take advantage of all that space under there for storage!

We have the same furniture. I did hear that it was really high. Luckily, we have a full mattress that is fairly new that we are going to use for the bed when we convert it in a couple of days. If its too high, I'll try using without the box spring.
Do you have a dust ruffle? I'm wondering if its so high that we'll need to get one.
P.s. it is the screw in type rails. Thanks
