As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Looking for a playgroup
Does anyone have a good resource for a free or low-cost playgroup? Charles is nearly 5 mos. and I would like him to have some interaction with other children. I could use some time out of the house as well. I tried Meetup.com, but I have not had any success. Looking in the Kent County area.....

Try RI New Moms Connection. They offer new moms groups and they are awesome! There is also a Kent County Moms group on meetup.com that is supposed to be awesome. I wasnt sure if you had tried that one.
Tunes for Tots by Joanne also does an infant music class. Oh and Woman and Infants does a new moms group as well.

I did a group with RI New Moms Connection. Their 0-3 mo group "discussion topics" left a little to be desired... but the groups with older kids are more of a play group and less of a moms discussion/venting group.
Kite Tails play center in North Kingstown supposedly has an infant area, maybe you could meet parents there? It's free for babies under 12 mo I believe. I haven't been so I'm not sure.
