Are any of you on Pottermore yet?  It's pretty fantastic!  There are a bunch of "treasures" to unlock as you go through each of the books where J.K. Rowling gives you lots of fun trivia about inspiration, realizations, etc. It's so cool to see that part of the writing process that usually never makes it to fans.  Also, if any of your kids/step kids are HP fans, I think it's a great discovery site.  My friend who is a children's librarian told me to check it out.

Anyway, if any of you are on, I need some friends at Hogwarts, my username is: NimbusOak51 (the usernames are cryptic to protect children on the site, so if you add me as a friend let me know so that I recognize your name)

I couldn't ever get on to sign up way back when! I soon as it's open to everyone I'll sign up and find you. 

Mandah, I keep hearing that the site opens to everyone on October 1. You can't get on until then unless you signed up early and got a special email.

Yup, the site officially opens in October - they opened the beta site to some people - they had daily challenges for a week (how I got an invite) and also special invitations.  I'll let you girls know when it has opened!!!

I'm only in Chapter 2 of Book 1 so far, so I don't even have a wand or a house in Hogwarts yet. . .

I know I don't post much over here but I'm on pottermore. My username is UnicornFlight180. I heard the site won't open for regular users until the end of October and then it will be staggered welcome emails.
