preschool jobs

Hi- I'm new on this board!  I'm hoping you girls can help.  I'm interested in working in a preschool that has students come either in the morning or afternoon session.  Many daycares that do offer this (little, if any) incorporate children that need all day care.  So, I'm just interested in facilities that do strictly morning/afternoon sessions.  Does anyone know of some quality places? TIA.

Re: preschool jobs

  • Just in shopping for preschools, the ones that I have noticed the time frames that you are mentioning are attached with churches.

  • A lot of churches do have morning and afternoon sessions, but all public school districts have preschools that are a combination of children with special needs and children who are typically developing.  I know most of the preschools in Lucas County are morning and afternoon.  Some in Fulton and Wood County are as well, but some that are further out do all day, two days a week.  If you are in Lucas County, you can contact the Lucas County Educational Service Center for more information about the preschool in your district.

  • Why don't you tutor or something Wink

  • and don't post anything embarrassing.  I don't want to have to read it...Stick out tongue
  • I just realized I forgot to mention, you have to have an early childhood intervention specialist degree to teach at the school district preschools, but there are usually positions for one on ones or paraprofessionals.  I am not sure how many would still be open now, but you can always look into it.
