Today I finally unpacked my sewing machine and serger. It has only been a year and two months.
I am very excited to do some sewing projects.
What makes you happy?

Re: Happiness!
Finally being able to concentrate on homework because my house is clean! It's the little things, you know! Sorry I went AWOL the past few days... mountains of craziness between work, school, and the kid.
What sewing projects are you planning, Monolayth???
I wanna make a bunch of THESE
I want to start on Halloween costumes for the little ones. Speaking of which, What should I dress the toddler up as?
I am grabbing one of my old costumes. (I used to be a costumer) Also fix some straps on dresses I have been putting off, hem the jeans of the kids, One of my bras has the under wire poking out and I will be sewing that back into place.

I love that idea for up-cycled shrugs!! Too cool.
Well, we are dressing our toddler up as a "funky pumpkin," complete with a crazy orange tutu, a beanie, and some sweet-awesome sunglasses.
Feel free to steal my amazing idea. Another of my friends is dressing her baby girl as a gnome, which I thought was pretty hilarious.
My husband is against me putting tutus on the toddler. Something about hims being a boy....lol
Am very tempted to put him in the suit he wore for our wedding. It was very cute. You can see it in my avatar.

LOL. You're right, he looks better in more masculine attire. My bad! The suit IS adorable. You could make him a gangster, circa 1930.
I love those! You may have just inspired me to get out my sewing machine. I need to relearn how to use it since my old one was ancient and my new one is computerized which scares me.

I am so jealous of you ladies who can sew.
What makes me happy: We are 2 weeks away from closing on the house we built and I am so HAPPY....
